What is Hallnect?
Hallnect is an online marketplace for wedding halls, kalyana mandapams, reception, party, banquet and meeting venues in Tamil Nadu, India. Families compare venues by city, guest capacity, price and amenities, then ask a hall for a quote or, where the hall offers it, book online with an advance. Venue owners list their halls for free and answer families from an owner dashboard. Hallnect is run by HALLNECT LLP, based in Madurai.
How do I book a venue?
It depends on the hall, and each listing says which it is. Where a hall books online, you pick your date and slot and pay the advance plus a ₹100 platform fee plus 18% GST (₹118) through Cashfree — capped at a quarter of the advance on a small booking, and waivable with a promotional code — and the booking is confirmed once the owner accepts it. Where a hall works on quotes, tap "Get a quote" and tell it your date, the occasion and how many guests, then verify your mobile number — the hall does not see it. It replies on Hallnect with its price; if you accept, that hall gets your number to agree the booking with you.
Is the advance payment refundable?
On an online booking it depends when you cancel: the full advance is refundable more than 30 days before the event, and partially up to 7 days before. The platform fee and its GST, where charged, are non-refundable on customer cancellations. On a hall that works on quotes you pay the hall directly, so agree its refund terms before you accept the quote.
Can I see the venue before booking?
Yes, and we strongly recommend visiting in person. Tap "Visit" on a hall's page to ask to see it, and the hall calls you to confirm a time.
How much does Hallnect charge?
On an online booking you pay the hall's advance plus a ₹100 platform fee plus 18% GST (₹118) at checkout, shown clearly before you pay; on a small booking the fee is capped at a quarter of the advance, and a promotional code can reduce it to zero. Asking a hall for a quote is free, and you pay that hall directly. There are no other charges from Hallnect.
I'm a venue owner — how do I list?
